Cream Cheese and Spinach Dip Extraordinaire



This is perfect for entertaining. Your guests won’t be able to leave it alone! The good news is, this recipe makes TWO balls of cream cheese and spinach yumminess.

Herbed Butter

  • 3 Tbsp butter, softened
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Mix in a small bowl and set aside


  • 12 ounces cream cheese, softened at room temperature for at least 2 hours
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped artichoke hearts
  • 1 – 1/2 cups chopped fresh spinach
  • 1 – 1/4 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cans crescent roll dough

Combine all ingredients except for the crescent roll dough and mix thoroughly. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Carefully unroll the crescent dough (do not pull apart into separate crescents) and place half of the mixture, shaped into a ball, in the middle of it and gently enclose the mixture with the dough. Do this with the other half of the mixture or save it for another day.

Place on parchment paper on a baking sheet and add the herbed butter to the outside. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.

Serve with pita chips or crackers.
