The Tale of Two Rosemary Plants

The handy features of the FOODY were once again brought home to me when I realized this lovely rosemary plant I had dug up and planted in a coffee can back in early November…

Now looked like this…

Compare that to the rosemary plants who have been living in the FOODY since September…

and…

I have to admit, I’m rather impressed with the FOODY, I really am. To date, I’ve had dismal results growing herbs indoors and had actually given up on it. And while the plants are not necessarily as robust as if they had been grown outside, that is more a matter of restrictions in sunlight, rather than a shortcoming of the FOODY.

So all of this is to say, hooray FOODY, I could even end up teaching some herb/cooking classes during winter with this little darling. Although knowing me, I’d have one at every window…you know, to make sure I had ‘enough’!

Rosamaries are the toughest plant to grow indoors (as you can attest to with your coffee can plant) but perhaps the FOODY is the secret to growing them indoors! Congratulations!
